As we approach the final weeks before the Swansea Festival of Stitch 2018, I thought it would be great to get to know the Masterclass Tutors a little better. I devised a fun questionnaire and set up an on-line survey for the tutors to complete. This week I'm going to share their answers with you, and the first masterclass tutor to be featured is Georgina Newson. Georgina's workshop gets the party started, it's the very first workshop on Friday 10th August! Please go to the Masterclass page on this website to see if there are any places left.
I hope you enjoy finding out a bit more about Georgina, and that some of her answers act as inspiration for you in your creative journey.
What was the first thing you ever made? Tiny Tears knitted outfit - still have the pattern, from a Family Circle magazine.
Who was instrumental in fuelling your creative spark? Not sure. My mother was a dressmaker, and my father was not artistic, but I remember him sketching a face once, that I thought was astoundingly good.
